The Gold Coast scene is a lively one all year round. The Gold Coast is one of Australia's major events centres with everything from thoroughbred yearling sales to Indycar races. These events draw thousands of visitors to the Gold Coast which in turn creates a fabulous party atmosphere.

The area bounded by Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach and Main Beach is home to the majority of nightclubs and restaurants. Conrad Jupiters Casino at Broadbeach offers traditional casino gaming along with restaurants and major theatrical productions.

The Gold Coast Arts Centre features live theatre productions. The centre has two cinemas, several restaurants and function rooms, a comedy clubhouse, arts theatre and two art galleries. It is a popular venue for lovers of the arts.

The Gold Coast numerous nightclubs, the majority of which are situated in the Cavill Mall and Orchid Ave area of Surfers Paradise. The thriving club scene has something for everyone, from sports bars to music clubs blasting out the latest dance crazes. There are numerous bars and nightclubs with live bands playing regular gigs.

Most of the entertainment at the southern end of the Gold Coast is centered in the Twin Towns Services Club. This is the largest Services Club in Australia, setting high standards in dining and entertainment. The club is open 7 days and occupies almost 5 square kilometres of property spread across four sites.
